Day 54 - February 23

Mckenzie drew Donovan, our cat, on the bathtub with her tub crayons.  She is quite the artist in the making.  :)

Day 53 - February 22

Mckenzie loves to play dress-up.  Mommy is the princess and Mckenzie is the cowboy.

Day 52 - February 21

Before we came home from Big Bear, we stopped to have lunch at Johnny Rockets.  We got Mckenzie a new pair of Vans shoes and also did some shopping at Costco.

Day 51 - February 20

Week 7

Day 49 - February 18

We made it up to the cabin today.  It was a LONG drive in the snow.  We were all so ready to be out of the car!  Mckenzie found this balloon that someone had left and she was having fun playing with it before bed.

Day 48 - February 17

All week we had to keep wearing this heart costume!

I was just reading that our park was planned to be closed in February for reconstruction.  I decided to take Mckenzie there and we found out the construction had started!  I think this was the first day of it!

Day 45 - February 14

We made these hearts in my Kindergarten class and I had an extra one to bring home for Mckenzie.  The plan  was to have her make it and take her into his work with it on.  We were planning on meeting him for lunch.  Then my car had to be taken into the shop.  So plans changed.  Mckenzie and I hung out at the car dealer (she LOVED the play area though) and Doug came there to take us to lunch.  So, we did the heart when he got home.  Daddy was very surprised and liked it very much!

Day 44 - February 13

We spent the day at Grandma and Grandpa's.  Mckenzie was pooped out after a day of running around!  :)

Day 43 - February 12

We went to Sgt. Pepper's Dueling Piano Bar for Diane's 40th Birthday.  We had a great night and lots of fun!

Week 6

Day 42 - February 11

She loves her spaghetti!

Day 41 - February 10

Cheater Photo x3!  We went to dinner for my birthday.  I felt like I was dying the whole time and didn't eat or get a picture.  :(  Leftovers were great later on though!

Day 40 - February 9

Mckenzie loves her cereal and loves to drink the milk after.

Day 39 - Feb 8

Cheater Photo again!  I played Bunco tonight.  I didn't win, but had a great time!

Day 38 - February 7

I got home with a little bit of light left, so Mckenzie and I headed to the park to play.  I love this shot of her on the slide.

Day 37 - February 6

On our way home from San Diego, we stopped at Doug's parent's house to watch the Super Bowl, or more importantly, the commercials.  The Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25.

Day 36 - February 5

We were in San Diego for my birthday and we went to Sea World for the day.  Mckenzie always loves it there.  She actually got to see Elmo and Zoe in person.  Zoe ran up to Mckenzie in the line (even though people in front of us were waiting for her) and gave her hug.  Later, when we were in the nearby play area, Zoe and Elmo ran up to Mckenzie again and gave her another hug.

Week 5

Day 35 - February 4

At the Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop after dinner in San Diego's Gaslamp District.  Daddy had a delicious peanut butter and chocolate shake and Mommy and Mckenzie shared some "pink" strawberry ice cream.

Day 34 - February 3

Out riding her bike again with some crazy hair (again).

Day 33 - February 2

Dancing to the letter sound songs.

Day 32 - February 1

Mckenzie loves to play with her dollhouse.  Every time we are out somewhere, we just have to ask if she wants to go home to play with her dollhouse and she immediately wants to go home.

Day 31 - January 31

Mckenzie loves to play with the letters in the bathtub.  She plays "Word World" with all the letters.  She names them all while putting them up, and then will read the word she makes.  Most often she "spells" the names of everyone in the family.  :)

Day 30 - January 30th

Mommy and Mckenzie trying to take a nice picture together.  This was the best out of a ton!

Day 29 - January 29th

We were able to hang out at Disneyland with Matt, Stephanie, Madison, and Sydney.  We had a great time.  Mckenzie LOVES to be with the girls.

Week 4

Day 28 - January 28

I came in and saw Mckenzie holding up two fingers.  I was all excited because I thought she was practicing to answer how old she was.  Really, she was trying to convince me to let her watch 2 shows before bed.  She was so cute, it worked!

Day 27 - January 27

Mckenzie playing with her ambulance when we got home.  She loves all her Mickey Mouse toys.

Day 25 - January 25

Reading her bedtime stories before bed.  Lately we always read Goodnight Moon 1,2,3, Goodnight Moon, and Duck and Goose Find a Pumpkin.  She now reads them to me.

Day 24 - January 24

Squeaky clean after a bath.

Day 23 - January 23

Yep, I finally got all the decorations and the tree down.  Took awhile, but it's finished now.  The only question is, how long will this box sit in our living room?

Day 22 - January 22

Fun at Disneyland!  Mckenzie saw 4 different characters - Goofy, Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore.  She was pooped at the end of the day though and fell asleep in the stroller.

Every once in a while, Mckenzie will sit with her legs crossed like this to watch TV.  We think it's kind of funny, but ultra cute!

Mommy had the day off today in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.  We went outside and painted a birdhouse.  Mckenzie loved to paint on top of other colors, so it is VERY colorful!

Day 16 - January 16

We went to Disneyland today.  We got to see Minnie in her house and Mickey in his house.  Here is Mckenzie sitting on Minnie's wishing well with Daddy.

We went to Erika's for a playdate today.  Everyone had a great time.  Here are some of the girls eating lunch.
